The 50-minute drive offers a beautiful introduction to the region, featuring vibrant coffee and banana groves and a glimpse of the Global Orphanage. Spend the afternoon unwinding at Masai Land Safari Lodge, soaking in the atmosphere before heading into the wild.

Day 1: Arusha – Cultural Discovery & Local Markets
Spend a leisurely day uncovering the hidden gems of Arusha. Visit the Cultural
Heritage, a stunning architectural landmark, to browse one of Africa’s largest collections of art, carvings, and gemstones (including the rare Tanzanite). Later, navigate the bustling stalls of the Maasai Market to bargain for handmade beadwork and vibrant fabrics. This flexible day allows you to connect with the local community and take home a piece of Tanzania.
Overnight: Masai Land Safari Lodge
Day 2: Community Spirit & The Gateway to Tarangire
Start your morning with a heart-warming visit to the Shalom Center, a local project
dedicated to supporting and educating children in need. It is a wonderful way to connect with the Tanzanian spirit before your wildlife adventure begins. Later, drive to Tarangire National Park for an introductory game drive through lush acacia woodlands and along the life-giving Tarangire River.

Day 3: Full Day in Tarangire – “Home of the Giants”
Spend a full day exploring Tarangire, which boasts the largest elephant population in
Tanzania and a landscape dotted with ancient, towering baobabs. After an exciting
morning of wildlife spotting, enjoy a picnic lunch at a dedicated site inside the park. Your adventure continues as animals gather at the river in the late afternoon heat. As the sun sets, return to the lodge to relax.
Overnight: Tarangire River Camp
Day 4: The Ngorongoro Crater – “The Eighth Wonder”
After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the heart of the Ngorongoro Crater.
This high concentration of predators—including lions, leopards, and hyenas—makes for thrilling sightings. You will visit Lake Magadi to see flamingos and stop at the Hippo Pool for a scenic picnic lunch. Keep your camera ready for the endangered Black Rhino, which finds sanctuary on this caldera floor.
Overnight: Ngorongoro Serena Lodge
Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park – Tree-Climbing Lions
Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is a scenic gem.
Drive through a lush groundwater forest alive with troops of baboons and blue monkeys before the landscape opens up to the alkaline lake. The park is world-famous for its tree-climbing lions and thousands of pink flamingos. After a full game drive, head to the highlands for your final evening.
Overnight: Kilimamoja Manyara
Day 6: Departure
Enjoy a final breakfast overlooking the Rift Valley. If the skies are clear, keep a lookout
for a breathtaking view of Mount Kilimanjaro as we transfer you to the airport.
