10 Days Tanzania Safari – Tarangire, Lake Natron, Serengeti & Ngorongoro
Day 1: Arrival – Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where your guide will meet you and transfer you to Arusha for dinner and overnight at your lodge or hotel.
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Enjoy views of giant baobab trees, elephant herds, and diverse wildlife along the Tarangire River. Overnight at your lodge.
Day 3: Tarangire – Lake Natron
Depart after breakfast and drive toward Lake Natron, enjoying scenic views and Maasai villages along the way. Upon arrival, explore the lake area and relax at your lodge.
Day 4: Lake Natron – Waterfall Hike and Lake Walk
Start early for a sunrise walk to the lake to see flamingos, followed by a hike to the Ngare Sero Waterfalls. Afternoon at leisure or cultural visit. Overnight at Lake Natron.
Day 5: Lake Natron – Serengeti National Park (Northern or Central)
Travel through remote terrain into Serengeti National Park with en route game drives. Arrive for lunch and enjoy your first game drive in the Serengeti. Overnight at your selected lodge or tented camp.
Day 6: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Spend the day on safari in the Serengeti. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration or spot predators such as lions and cheetahs. Overnight at your lodge or camp.
Day 7: Serengeti National Park – Full Day Game Drive
Another full day exploring different sections of the Serengeti. Optional early morning game drive, followed by meals and game viewing throughout the day. Overnight stay in the Serengeti.
Day 8: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, drive with game viewing en route to Ngorongoro. Optional stop at Olduvai Gorge. Reach the crater rim by late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at your lodge near the rim.
Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater – Full Day Safari
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. Spot rhinos, lions, elephants, hippos, and more in this natural wildlife haven. Picnic lunch by the hippo pool. Return to your lodge for the night.
Day 10: Ngorongoro – Arusha – Departure
