Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact but diverse park known for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and hippos. Explore its lush forests and lake shore on a game drive. Afterward, return to your lodge in Karatu to relax and prepare for the Serengeti adventure.

Day 4: Central Serengeti (Seronera Area)
Depart early for the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Highlands, with optional stops along the way, such as Olduvai Gorge. Arrive in the Central Serengeti for an afternoon game drive in the Seronera Valley, a prime area for spotting big cats like leopards and cheetahs. Overnight in a tented camp or lodge in Central Serengeti.

Day 5: Northern or Western Serengeti (Migration Zone)
After breakfast, journey deeper into the Serengeti to follow the migration herds. Depending on the time of year, you’ll head either to the Western Corridor (May–June) or Northern Serengeti (July–October) to witness dramatic river crossings and massive herds of wildebeest and zebras. Enjoy afternoon and evening game drives. Overnight in a camp/lodge near the migration route.

Day 6: Full Day in Migration Zone (Northern or Western Serengeti)
Spend a full day tracking the Great Migration, observing the tense moments at rivers where crocodiles wait, and predators stalk the herds. Your expert guide will position you for the best viewing based on real-time movements. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild and return to camp for a campfire dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After a final early game drive, begin the journey back toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy en-route game viewing and arrive at your lodge near the crater rim or in Karatu in the evening. Relax and prepare for your final safari day.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha / Departure
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari in one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich environments. Look for black rhinos, lions, elephants, and large groups of hippos.
