8 Days Experience Great Migration in Serengeti Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you’ll be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. You’ll have time to rest, receive a safari briefing, and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its giant baobab trees, large elephant herds, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive across the park’s savannahs and river valleys. In the evening, continue to your lodge in the Karatu area for overnight.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact but diverse park known for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and hippos. Explore its lush forests and lake shore on a game drive. Afterward, return to your lodge in Karatu to relax and prepare for the Serengeti adventure.
Day 4: Central Serengeti (Seronera Area)
Depart early for the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Highlands, with optional stops along the way, such as Olduvai Gorge. Arrive in the Central Serengeti for an afternoon game drive in the Seronera Valley, a prime area for spotting big cats like leopards and cheetahs. After lunch near a scenic viewpoint, ascend the crater walls and return to Arusha or proceed directly to the airport for your departure.
